We're built into the Salt Lake film community, not parked next to it. We hire local, we mentor the next bench, and we put our weight behind the people building here.
What that looks like

DIT, set lighting, photo basics, on-set workflows. Co-hosted with Utah Film Center, run by our regular gaffers and crew. Hands-on, not slide decks.

Local filmmakers, regional features, and the occasional weird thing. We host at the shop or co-host at UFC's screening room.

Coffee at the shop, drinks after wrap, the occasional popup. We like actually knowing the people we work with — so we get everyone in town in the same room a few times a year and see what shakes out.
Formal partnership
We're a formal community partner of Utah Film Center. That means co-hosted workshops, shared programming, mentorship for the next generation of Utah-based crew, and our shop showing up when UFC needs gear or a venue.
